Zephyrus GX701GXH Mic Mute Hotkey Quit Working
I have the Zephyrus S GX701GXH. I had been using a ROG Delta headset with it until a couple days ago when they were wore out so I tossed them and replaced them with another ROG Delta headset that is brand new. Since then the mic mute hotkey has quit working. When I press it the prompt will appear on screen saying "mic muted" but it doesn't actually mute the mic. I have tried muting the laptop's internal mic with the headset unplugged and it does the same thing. All other hotkeys work as they should. To try to correct it I have updated to the latest BIOS, Realtek Audio Driver, Nahimic Component Driver, Armory Crate Service, ROG Live Service Package, ASUS System Control Interface V2 Driver, Asus Precision TouchPad Driver and re-installed the ASUS Hotkeys app from the Windows App Store. I don't have a restore point to restore to other than the factory reset from the recovery partition and would prefer not to do that. Anybody have any ideas?
