Who wants from ROG a RTX 3090 or 3080 with water cooling block ??

Dear Asus ROG Community

Unfortunately it's been so long since Asus ROG released the GTX 1080 TI Poseidon. I would wish that Asus brings a RTX 3090 or a 3080 on the market which has a

water cooling. Of course with lots of RGB 🙂

Asus has for those who don't like RGB the RTX 3090 Strix which looks boring for my taste.

I don't understand why the new RTX graphics cards produce so much heat that a watercooling model is not available right away.

I am very curious about your opinions

I'll be honest... This time around I'd prefer to purchase a card from nVidia themselves only because they tend to keep the best silicon for themselves. But I'll be happy to buy a waterblock from anyone, provided it's compatible with a reference board.

Please do not post GPU related discussion in general. There is a clear section for NVIDIA GPU discussion available.

first I want to say " Ultra Neo " nice pc setup you have 🙂

I don't want any foreign hardware in my PC, not from Nvidia or from another manufacturer 🙂 I just love Asus ROG the stunning and beautiful design! Especially the RGB with Armoury Crate everything works as it should. If I have a GPU from the other manufacturer then I have to install software for it which I just don't want.

Asus can build good graphics cards like the Poseidon or the Matrix ...
but no they prefer to present a 79 gram pc mouse or a mousepad on 01.09.2020 in a live stream 🙂 is this really your serious ?
I just hope that this thread or the other forum posts will be heard.

Finaly develop a Martix or Poseidon or just a watercooling block with hot RGB I think many Asus ROG fans worldwide would be happy

EVGA builds very good water cooling solutions with the HydroCopper I think there is nothing wrong.

But maybe you would change your mind if you, like me, would be happy if there was an Asus Matrix or a Poseidon

Why even you bother with this stuff when there are these

I'm going with Nvidia RTX 3090 FE card, and waiting for Optimus FE Block.

Optimus WC is doing a special edition compact notched RTX 3090 FE Block, they are waiting for physical samples to validate the designs, and expect all preorder RTX 3090 FE Blocks to ship in November. Simply preorder the RTX 2080 Ti FE Block, on the order confirmed email click View Order, and click on the contact us link, and send "Upgrade to 3090 FE" in your message,.. and they will confirm your order as 3090 FE Block.

Done deal, I'm in.

I personally prefer the looks of having a full size card in my big CaseLabs case, and since I do have a big liquid cooling loop, my 1080Ti Poseidon is a perfect fit. A single slot waterblock looks kinda small in there...

There's also the sense of "comfort" (lack of better word) knowing I won't have to risk warranty issues should there be any issues down the line. Since warranty is void when mounting a waterblock. At least in Sweden.

That said, if there aren't any news regarding a Poseidon soon I'll probably end up getting the Strix with blocks from EKWB and praying I'll never encounter any issues...
