Asus Prime Z390-A NVME Question

Hi All,

I currently have a small 128GB M.2 drive in the M.2_2 socket on my Prime Z390-A motherboard purely for Windows. I have several other internal SSD's but would like to add an NVME drive to the other socket (M.2_1) This will be specifically for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator.

If I do this does the NVME drive automatically run at the higher speed or is there anything that needs to be turned on/adjusted in the BIOS?

So reading the manual for the Z390-E, it says

"enable the Hyper M.2 X16 series card under BIOS setting"

When you add the second M.2 card, I believe you have to log in to BIOS and "enable" it.

UPDATE: and also I think you will find
NVMe Configuration in your BIOS. This menu displays the NVMe controller and Drive information of the connected device
