Do I really need to have this on my system?

I control my fans in bios anyways and other than that, I really do not use it at all?

no its garbage bloatware, any asus program/tool is terrible

What would you recommend to use so I can see my cpu temps?

hwinfo64 or open hardware monitor theres loads to pick from

I have Icue, and just noticed that I can check cpu temps there too?

Will try that for now.

Question is there a uninstaller for AI3, that will get rid of it completely?

i think there was a tool to remove it completely, i know unistalling doesnt get rid of everything. and yes icue should be fine for monitoring
