505DV and Dual Monitor support

Hello,

I'm currently using a TUF 505DV as my daily driver. When i'm at home I dock it and use a 24" monitor, keyboard and mouse. I want to use the laptop display as a second monitor to extend my display but it only recognizes it as 1 display and it displays the desktop on both displays. Anyway around this?

Also bonus question: Anyone know of a good cooler for this laptop? When I do plug it into my monitor and close the lid and fire up a game, it overheats and shuts down within 10 minutes.

Nevermind I figured it out.

Would still like to know a good cooler for this laptop thou.
