G531GV light bar (buttom led strip) corner always on

Hello,

I was using the laptop with rainbow effect on keyboard while light bar and logo off but suddenly a corner of the light bar lit up and it's impossible to shut off even if you turn down backlight brightness to 0%. This is definitely a software issue but I can't figure out the exact problem.

Any suggestions?

I've confirmed that this is not a hardware issue - after going back to factory image the problem went away but returned after the software was updated automatically.

Any ideas?
