So I have 2 m.2 nvme ssd in my rig. I have always wondered why it takes about 20 seconds for my rig to boot up?

I have fast start up disabled in windows and also in my bios.

Changing them to enabled does nothing?

Maybe I did not set up the boot options right, dont know.

Any advice will help.

Thanks in advamce.

That sounds fairly typical/normal if you are talking a literal 20 seconds from pressing the power button to Windows fully loaded. I have a few different z390 and z490 machines and they vary from 15-20 seconds depending on the system. More ram takes longer to train and initialize also.

If you changed any memory training setting that will effect boot times. MRC fast boot enabled will speed up boot times. MCH full check Off/disabled will speed it up also but they should be fine on Auto.
