Screen sleep turn off timer not working after GPU driver update (Asus G752VM)
This is an issue I have always experienced on my Asus G752VM since I bought it: In some NVIDIA driver upgrades the screen cannot be turned off.
For me, the main inconvenience is that that the screen power sleep setting, where the screen turns off itself after a few minutes while not being used, does not work.
I have always been to lazy to find a solution (either I let it be or I go back to a previous working driver). Once, I tried a few tools to force the to screen turn off but they did not work.
I wonder if anyone has a solution to this issue. My set up:
ASUS G752VM
GeForce GTX 1060 - driver version 456.38
Thank you for any advice
