Asus X570 MBs: Zen 3 bios flashback or out of box compatibility
Hello,
Long story short, I plan on building a new PC and plan on purchasing the Asus ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) (non dark version) MB paired with a new AMD Zen 3 processor.
Will a bios flashback be required for those like me who don't have an older gen CPU to update the bios or does ASUS plan on selling current versions of this board with the new Zen 3 bios preinstalled to allow for out of the box compatibility for the new AMD Zen 3 processors?

I would fully expect refresh boards to come with a compatible UEFI, however existing boards will likely need flashback.

You need a BIOS with AGESA 1.0.8.0 to boot with Zen 3/5000 series...so 2204 2206 on CHVIII....then update to AGESA 1.1.0.0 once those BIOS drop
BIOS Flashback is the perfect tool for this on ASUS boards
