Rog Strix 3080 dosnt get detected on Maximus formula X

Hey Rog people

I have just installed Asus Rog Strix 3080 on my Maximus Formula X motherboard but it dosnt detect it in the Bios so what could posible be wrong, the rgb on the gfx is on and i have 3*8 pin power connected and im using corsair 1200i psu so it should be a power issue, but im kinda blank at the moment so i hope someone can help.

Problem solved.

Bad power cable was the issue so you can close/delete this thread.

GPU is very good so thanks alot for a great product:)

It seems the 3000 series are very voltage sensitive.
had exactly same problem with my 3070
