Asus Rog strix xg27uq IPS glow

Hi all.
Today I received my second copy of this monitor after sending the first one back because of terrible IPS glow.
Unfortunately, this one isn't much better than the first one with two spotlights in each of the top corners.
I know this is often a problem with IPS panels but at £800 I really expect better.
The monitor it's replacing (PG279Q) had none so am I expecting too much?

If I put slight pressure on the corners it goes away but not permanently of course.

Apart from the glow it's pretty awesome

Customer support has been hopeless I must say.
