X99-E WS Motherboard Are EZ XMP and other Onboard Switches Safe to Turn on?
I thought I'd check here first for advice. These things such as EZ XMP, Dr Power, EPU, TPU all look like wonderful features to have, so I have never understood why they are turned off by default. I'd like to get a little more performance from this 6-year old PC. But I'm not an enthusiast, and I don't want to risk killing it by turning on one of these switches. I am not very comfortable playing around with BIOS settings and such. But I wouldn't mind learning if I knew where to get info.
It's got a great CPU, 64 GB of RAM, and a 1000W PSU. Thanks
