x470 hero vii latest audio driver query
Hi all,
I own a Crosshair Hero VII (7) x470 motherboard which has a "ROG SupremeFX 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC S1220".
On my driver support page, the latest available is Version 6.0.1.8746 (2019/12/03).
Though on the Asus Crosshair Hero VIII x570 support page (which has the same audio?), the latest version is Version 6.0.8960.1 (2020/07/20 ).
Is it safe to download and use the latest driver from the x570 model?
Thanks for your aid in advance
