Letting it run some encodes now and will see how she does.
Two more E41's, both coming out of sleep mode . I think I am done with these Trident 4x16's for now. I'm going back to my rock solid RipJaws 3200 C14 kit and will research some 2x32 kits while waiting on a 59x0 to come my way...

My trouble with these new bios'es is that when CPU SOC voltage is set to auto bios sometimes/often sets it too low, aroune 0.98V, it should be ~1.088V, at 0.98V my system is unstable at any memory setting

Manually setting CPU SOC to ~1.088V (i need to set it to ~1.0975 in bios so it read 1.088V in bios/hwinfo64) brings back stability

    noone else seeing this?

I manually set SOC 1.1v for 4xDIMM. Originally needed 1.125 to get boot (successful RAM training) than was able to drop after that 1.1v.

    Methinks Bios

I put this to the test by building a system with Formula Board and a different type of DDR4 that I have in my Hero, along with another X570 board:

I also ordered an MSI Edge as Amazon had one on sale.

I ordered two lots of DDR4 different type as it was fast with tight timings:

    2 x ( USD$412.30 ) G.SKILL Trident Z Neo Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3800 (PC4 30400) Desktop Memory Model F4-3800C14Q-32GTZN

from the States - one lot in the MSI and one lot in the Asus.

Same issues with the Formula as I have with the Hero.

The MSI runs perfectly every time.

Asus - you really need to get this fixed - it is damaging your reputation and your sales. I now, only build MSI Tomahawk systems - I cannot recommend Asus to customers until this is fixed.

with 2402 (same AGESA Patch C) it was at 2066 with my CPU.

at least 2000 would be nice
had the same issue for 2502 and could not set flck 2000 for my ddr4000 2x8 sticks. reverted to the 2402 beta and works again

Thanks SHAMINO, this has resolved the issue on my Impact board (Not being able to use D.O.C.P).

Well after swapping back to the RipJaws 4x8 3200 C14's, running DCOP and a 13% OC, system has been rock solid. Running the 2502 Release Bios from Asus' Bios Download page. Not sure if it the change from Neo to RipJaws, or the change from 3600 to 3200 solved the issue. Would like to get back to 64GB, but unsure of which way to go now. 4x16 or 2x32...Ripjaws or try the Neo's again... or something else altogether.

I've got the Ripjaws 4x16GB, 64GB 3200Mhz and it doesn't run at advertised speeds. Even 3000Mhz is subject to extensive tweaking.
The issue seems to be that those sticks are dual rank. Four sticks dual rank memory is harder on the IMC.
I've checked with 2x16 (as you probably did also) and it runs flawless.

For now and to avoid going overboard with the tweaking, just do 2x32GB. From what I've seen, these kits are more widely available now then a year ago.
Really, this Asus board is the pickiest I've had since my first Asus AMD K5 build.

    Cheers.
