I cannot save the light map of the keys on my keyboard in profiles (error message). It is also impossible for me to choose a profile already created with Aura Creator in Armory Crate

I have nearly the same Problem. Aura Creator only works, if i stop the Armoury Crate Service. As soon as this Service is stopped i can save Profiles in Aura Creator. When i start the Armoury Crate Service, no Profiles from Aura Creator are shown in the Drop-Down and if i want to save a Profile in Aura Creator i get the mentioned Error with Service Error and to restart the System. I double checked that everything from Aura and Armoury Software is Up-to-Date.

So the only workaround to get Aura Creator to work is to deactivate the Armoury Crate Service. Which, who wonders, makes Armoury Crate disfunctional. I think thats not intended.

Same here. Latest update from Armoury Crate installs Edge Beta and you can't even uninstall it.

The easiest way to uninstall Edge Beta (if you know it) is to go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ArmouryDevice\dll\ArmourySocketServer"
Right click on "MicrosoftEdgeBetaEnterpriseX64.msi" and choose uninstall.

I would also recommend to delete "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\E dge Beta"

1/15/21 Update: On my 30th or so time through the Uninstall Armoury Crate > Reboot > Reinstall Armoury Crate cycle, on rebooting I got a BIOS message "BIOS is updating LED firmware" and then it worked after that. Wish I knew what finally triggered that, but my problem is resolved now.

8. Clear description of your issue: Cannot control RGB on motherboard or addressable header (have 3 AIO fans and AIO pump plugged into header) because these devices do not appear in AURA Sync>Sync devices section of Armoury Crate. Memory is the only device that shows up here. RGB components are lighting up with default pattern, but cannot be controlled. Have tested this on a fresh install of Windows with only Armoury Crate installed and still have issue.

Strix 3080 does not save its color mode and does not restore it after Windows 10 is started. If power supply was switched off it does not save profile too and always resets to rainbow mode. If you want to change the color and open AC its always restes to static RED. Please fix it.

Routinely Armoury's HAL will just up and die. Leaving the lighting stuck (even if it's something like Stary Night; the "twinkling" stops). From then on, until a reboot, Armoury no longer sees the motherboard.

Didn't have this issue prior to updating.

This Armoury Crap still dosent work. Doesent beleve it would at any time! ASUS has expensive Hardware and is not able to make a software for that. This is so disappointing ! ASUS is so disappointing !

Upadate not working.

Try now about 13 months and many BIOS/Armory versions to be able to control my light.

After installing the Crate I constantly get the FF code on my motherboard, if I uninstall it the error goes away.

I've installed different version of Armory Crate and it never worked properly on my PC. I have never been able to see all the components compatible with Aura Sync.

8. Clear description of your issue :
After 3 months of uninstalling and installing Armory Crate, changing BIOS version, ... I'm coming to find help on this forum. Despite all my research and test, I still can't see my motherboard (Asus Strix Z390-E Gaming).
I tried to install Aura Sync version 1.07.79_V2.2. but it doesn't work either.
Worse yet, with the latest version of Armory Crate 3.2.4.0, I can't even see my RAM (G.Skill F4.3600c16Q) anymore.

ASUS Mothership GZ700 CPU OC No Longer Working in Armoury Crate.
Before that the disable mcupdate_GenuineIntel.dll method worked to restore OC for the CPU.
Now that method no longer works. I didn't pay $6,500 USD for a gaming laptop that can't OC.

Update the BIOS to give overclocking control like the AI suite in other motherboards.
