    Maximus XII speed issues! Unable to run XMP or DDR 3600

    Solved.
    I moved the modules to slots A2 and B2 even though the board has A1 and B1 marked as primary

    Glad you figured it out, slots A2 and B2 are indeed correct slot configuration for two DIMMs. Please see Chapter 1 page 5 in your motherboard manual.

    Interestingly I was able to run these sticks at 12-12-12-33 up to 3000. Latency was great but speed not so much.

    Diagram communicates it but it could be better

    Can we feedback that the manual, whilst demonstrating that the ram needs to go into A2 and B2 over A1 and B1, it is not immediately obvious and could be better communicated for future manuals. It took me some time to interpret the manual.Â*Â*

    I feel like such a dolt after reading this. I had my sticks in A1 and B1 also. I was able to get it to boot at 3200MHz but no matter what 3300MHz would not post at all no matter what. I saw this thread and then looked saw I had them in the wrong slots and moved them. Now my Ballistix DDR4-3600 is running at 3700MHz.
