@MasterC: it looks like something else is wrong here, even the system-provided avatars don't work for me, so it's not the size of the image.

Maybe it's a privilege that is granted after a certain post count?

It may be worthwhile to try using a different browser or PC.

OK, I've tried that just now through my Linux box with Chromium, I'll come back later and check. It's not displaying on the post yet, let's see.

Lolz, I've no idea what is wrong. Different OS+Browser makes no difference. As I said before, even the provided avatars in the window don't appear when I post, so it's definitely not my image specifications. More likely it's something in the permissions of my account, I'd say. I can see the different avatars in the profile page appearing. I can change them. The change is saved and the avatar is persistent even after a re-login, but something is wrong between there and the posts.

Don't lose sleep, in the long run it's not important, but something surely isn't working as intended. I'm pretty sure that it will just suddenly begin to work one fine day...

I've tested the portal feature in the link I provided and it appears to be working for myself so it's unclear why it was not working for you.

In your case I manually added the photo for you as I do not have access to your portal.
