G752VL NVMe 2nd slot install

I had great success when I installed my 1st 960 EVO 250 GB M.2 NVMe Samsung drive a few years ago. Still running very fast! I have one more vacant slot and want to install a "Samsung - 970 EVO Plus 1TB Internal PCI Express 3.0 x4 (NVMe) Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology".
I want to use it for additional storage and not in RAID. Does anybody see any issues with using it like this and will my choice even work? I cannot see the exact specs on Asus owners manual or site for the M.2 drive slots. Thanks for any info

I have one in my 2nd slot with not issues at all mine is a G752VY but MB is pretty much the same

I wound up buying a Western Digital Black SN750 NVMe SSD 1 TB. Put it in, booted up, went to management, scaned and set up new drive, moved all of my Forza 7, Horizon, 3 and 4 games over to it and the drive runs great!
