ROG Dominus Extreme NVlink 3090 issue

My second Palit GamingPro OC 3090 card in pcie slot #3 always run at 8x speed. Card tested on other pc and run fine at 16x. Power cords checked, bios on videocards updated to latest oficial version, bios on motherboard also reset.
Tried 0409, 0509, 0601 and latest 0704 bios for Dominus. 😞

Dear ASUS, please investigate this problem and make some fix.

My previous two 2080ti run at 16x without any issues.

DIMM.2_2_1, U.2_1 disabled and not share pci-e lanes with PCIEX16_3.

I have same board and had the same issue...  first I was using a Gen3 riser cable, I swapped it for Gen4... then set slot 3 from auto to 16X ..  I removed the left side m.2 DIMM to free up all the lanes for slot 3. Then I got 16x on both 1 and 3.  It would NOT work with the Gen3 riser" . I then installed an NVLINK bridge and enabled SLI in the Nvidia Control Panel. I have yet to get NVLINK to enable the links. "Nvidia-smi nvlink -s" says links are not enabled. Me thinks the M/B is broke. Fixed one issue only to have another one !!! thanks ASUS.
