ROG G20CB M.2 970 Evo 500gb upgrade

Hi all!

I just want to share my experience with me upgading the G20CB with a Samsung 970 evo M.2 ssd without and with EK M.2 heatsink. The lower score is without heatsink and the above is with.
Installing the 500GB was no worries (read about the 256GB limit) - open the chassis - install M.2 - install win 10.

Very cool. I'm glad to see someone posting an install of one of these with some success. Did you have any problems fitting everything back together with the heatsink on?

My guess is their will be enough space above that m.2 slot, I was gonna do a video on how to install one of these for the pc, but wasn't sure on the demand if many people have the system and installing the m.2 ssd

Whoopee I'm very interested in the NVMe performance in the G20CB. I was looking at the stripped down motherboards on ebay and it appears the the G20CI has a small fan positioned to blow next the drive card slot where the G20CB seems to have a small square heatsink.
