I was using it for a while and decided to try an older version (3006). With 3201 my 10980XE needed 1.27 to hit a stable all core 4.8OC. Max temps were ~86C. I loaded all of the same settings into 3006 and now, for the same 4.8OC, I only need 1.23V. Max temps dropped to 80C. I'll be sticking with 3006 thank you

EDIT to my post above. Have since switched to 0802 and I am seeing pretty significant performance improvements with my 10980XE. No issues yet...

You say you switched to 0802. Is that correct? That is an older Bios that did not cause crashes for me. It did, however cause a strange problem. As with the current next to latest Bios, once a new Bios is released a strange problem develops if I stick with older releases. For some reason HWMonitor starts to report my clock speeds as hitting very high levels. It is only the clock speeds, and not CPU temperatures though. But regardless it's the weirdest thing. Now whether or not this means my CPU is running at crazy high clock speed spikes or not is unknown. It could just be a glitch in HWMonitor or something that is simply reporting incorrect numbers. Have you (or anyone) noticed anything strange like these very high numbers with older Bios releases?

Bios 0802 uses MC29, which from what I have read is one of the best performers. Probably due to less impactful security patches. I was running the latest bios, then went to 3006 which IMO, overclocks much better with lower voltages. I then switched to 0802 and performance did increase in all benchmarks and I was able to maintain all of my OC settings with no increase in temps or voltages. here are some examples: Cb R15 bios 3006=~4573 with 0802 it's ~4733, R20 went from 10,532 on 3006 to 11,132 on 0802. R23 scores went from 27,635 to ~28,732. I put some requests out there for a modded 3006 bios with MC29. I believe that is going to be a good combination.
