Hello @Silent Scone@ROG will 1003 be available this year for Ramapte Vi Extreme encore ?

On the press release they quote on March 31, 2021 that they released the bios updates today. So yes 1003 is already out. Sure they dont tell anyone where to download In the past i was happy about nealy all Asus products. But they work hard to push me away. Maybe someone can mod the Edition30 and Encore 901 Bios that we can use rebar.

My PC:
1. Asus Strix 3090 GPU blown a VRM Stage and had ultimate coilwhine ..... whyyy??
2. Second Asus Strix 3090 GPU still works but also still sounds like a chainsaw coilwhine to the max ..... whyyy?
3. Asus X299 RampageEncore&Edition30 without Bios Update no rebar ..... why?
4. Asus Amoury Software wich i need to use to activate RGB and OLED on the Mainboard. The Software is just a bug fest additionally the million background apps need to run with it ..... why?


Wife PC:
1. Zotac Trinity 3090 with custom Bios runs silent and flawlessly with rebar enabled
2. Changed to a EVGA 3090 Kingpin runs silently and flawlessly with rebar enabled
3. EVGA X299 Black runs perfectly with rebar enabled
4. No background apps or crap running

you have on this topic 0070 Rebar for EE from shamino, if its released today its not available in any asus site.....

its very clear that the extra you pay on Asus top of line products....... as they are ALL left with the worst support.

Honestly you tech support woes aren't that uncommon, but I think you could probably exchange you story with another vendor.... Prior to being on my ASUS RTX 3070 I was on a Zotac RTX2070 which stopped working in full bandwidth the month the warrenty expired. I am actually looking for at x299 upgrades right now and it seems like the only company with the majority of rebar and bifurication support is ASUS. I was looking at MSI because they had reasonably good motherboard documentation but ReBAR bios are all release as beta with no documentation and it's hard to know if a motherboard will support bifuration. I've tried contact their support and they are completely useless. They don't even know there products and tell you thing that are completely wrong. I am not sure they even know much about computers at all. ASUS makes articles make it quiet clear, but it would be nice if they actually put some note on their BIOS releases. IME EVGA products have been good, it's pretty much every graphics card since jumping to NVIDIA many year ago. Their x299 options are very limited and you have to look all over their website and forums, really only one model that might work for me the FTW-k but lots of options with ASUS.

Okay ... but when it goes to support the latest X299 boards, they had to correct something at the last moment ???, I think that it has been a long time since the updates for the old line X299, it is not very comfortable having to review daily and maintain this uncertainty.

2021/04/07 1004 BIOS out for ROG_STRIX_X299-E_GAMING_II. Guess it would be 1004 for Encore, too.

And it looks like they released reBAR supporting bioses for Z390 boards now that are EOL. C'mon Asus, what's the deal, where is support for your FLAGSHIP product?
