im normally not necessarily a company fanboy. Means i usually decide what i buy reasoning out a sum of certain things that include:
    - Support
    - Quality
    - Frequency and timespan to receive softwareupdates
    - Price V.S. premium
    - Performance
    - availability
    - ... further considerations

When i do that i mostly try to have components like GFX and MB from same vendor. In this case currently "ASUS". Since i have in memory from past that theres/were sometimes certain optimisations that only worked somehow when you had e.g. ASUS and ASUS.

So i was asus customer in past already, i came back already and went away already again and now im here because i had switched away from MSI to ASUS at last since they did not update my former motherboard to become immune against the spectre/meltdown threat despite other vendors did so for this certain chipset. This was a mega downer for me. I mean all others did but MSI.

And now i have the fear here that another vendor let me down again. I hope just that i am not overly unlucky. Not let me down!

    Also i have to say:

It is a loooong time now that ASUS RTX 3000 series was announced. Actually we expected it to ditch on the market already way earlyer. And still theres this - certain worldwide happenings currently - that delay everything. But. I had built my computer at this time already built and ready for the RTX 3090 that is now here. April 2019 this z390 was top notch still. And there was no AMD with faster CPUs that day and also nothing cheaper available in my place that came even close to this performance. Pls now do not come and say this was already old and outdated like not worthy an update. It is well worth being updated! Especially with the wide and birdview that people by that time already bought things and paid premium for an upgrade path.

I mean i spent this whole time with an outdated MSI 1070 in this Core i9 rig till i finally got my RTX 3090 around christmas/newyear. And theres currently even more still awaiting deliveries from ASUS and all them they probably also have chipsets similar and - from about that time. Certainly not long back Intel was still the better choice for gaming in things to FPS. Ok about this statement i understand truly things change. Look at current processor market.

How do i color out now for you that i want to say with this that we want this update because we built our systems for and with RTX series in mind? And actually a bit it is questionable. When this technology is part of the PCI-Specs. Why did all the vendors cut it out at all so they have to reenable it now? I hope we didn't for mutilation.

My last Asus board, I've got a Maximus XI hero also and it's not old like some lead you to think it's a premium board and cost me just short of £300.

I've used Asus boards for the last 15+ years and won't be purchasing anything Asus again unless this is released for Z390.

It's not like this has just sprung up on them, They've had months to to get this ready, Nvidia and all 3rd Party AIB board vendors have the bios already including my Zotac RTX 3080 Trinity and yet this multi national company can't prepare a simple software bios update on time.

Asus you suck big time, Call yourself a big player and here we are with £100 boards from other manufacturers already with support for Z390.

Hope this doesn't hurt your reputation but I feel it already has, My wallet goes elsewhere in future.

If you have had the patience to deal with all the bugs in CyberPunk 2077, then you certainly can apply it here too. It wasn't even enabled in the NVIDIA Driver until the most recent update. I know it's annoying knowing there is an enhancement out there that you can't utilize yet for whatever reason. All my ASUS stuff I have purchased in the last month is my first venture with this company and after first doing some more research on their customer support, or more accurately, the lack thereof, I have managed to go the last month without relying on any support from them. These forums offer more support than the company ever can on their own. It's an unfortunate reality at this time.

You people need to chill out, I am also not happy, but I am sure (at least i hope) updates will be out in the next 5 days!
Maybe there is a problem and they need it working 100% who knows...

And for people asking about where it was stated that there will be support, go to page 3 of this Thread and scroll to the bottom.
But would have been better from ASUS to get a real statement on a channel (frontpage/twitter/whavter) out so people would be less confused and angry... but hey I am not a brand manager.

You are not a brand manager... well maybe you should be and asus would be better off to hire you, because this is exactly what they should be doing! Releasing an official statement about when we can expect support for resize bar for z390/70 boards! It’s not much to ask!

@Silent Scone: Any ETA for the rBAR bios update for Z390 (Maximus XI Hero)?
