I'm in the same boat, just come to the forums to see if Asus is going to update the BIOS or not, I have a 9900k with a Z370h, and i don't want to upgrade now.
Silence Is a very coward way to face costumers...

I am beginning to lose hope. Will wait a month longer, if no BIOS update I will then go out and buy a different brand of motherboard that supports resizable bar.

If they don' t release a resize supported bios for 3x series soon, the best answer to Asus that to never buy & suggest an Asus product ever...
I' m in the same way with you. I' ve an 9900k, Asus Rog Strix Z390-F & Asus Rog RTX 3080 Oc...
And i won' t upgrade anything because of that resize issue. And again if bios update won' t come soon, i' ll never buy an Asus product & never suggest it to any friend.
We only want an official explanation.

Well at least its a response LOL. Again pretty disappointing but not unexpected, all these review sites have become all about advertisements these days and their reviews aren't actually that good, so much needless waffle and rubbish is spoken about in the reviews.
I do find it funny how they rallied around hardware unboxed when Nvidia stopped sending them stuff because they felt HW unboxed wasn't focusing on certain features (which in all honesty it wasn't IMO), but these same review sites refuse to help us common folk where its actually going to help a lot of people!!! not just one guy who runs a review site. Total BS

This is the way. Open threads on other websites so that everyone can see Asus' policy of disloyalty towards its customers. Losing customers is the path chosen by Asus.

I don't think they are necessarily on Asus' side, it just isn't particularly newsworthy and they were getting spammed by people about it. It's certainly disappointing and I can't imagine any Asus 300-series owners who were aware of resizable bar will buy an Asus when they upgrade but it's still in line with previous reporting and NV's press release which stated that only 400-series and up would be guaranteed the update.
I would also note it is probably a lot more people than normal that were aware of resizable bar since AMD and NV pushed the features pretty hard.
If you guys want to pressure Asus don't spam tech reporters on social media, spam Asus. Hell link them to competitors and their solutions for it. Nothing will rile them up like a bunch of advertisements for MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock motherboards filling their social media pages.

I will wait about 1-2 weeks. If I dont see an official statement i will switch to the nextgen Mainboards/CPUS.
But without ASUS. The plan was to get the ROG STRIX Z590-E, but in this case my ASUS experience will end. GigaByte or MSI have also very good boardsLast edited by ECENAT0; 04-08-2021 at 10:22 AM.
