    GL503GE Fans wont power on

    Hi all,

    The fans in my GL503GE wont power on. Running a game will cause the temp to rapidly climb but the fans still won't turn on.

    I tried disconnect/reconnect fan connectors. Changing the Fan speed in ASUS ROG Gaming Center doesn't make them come on.

    Any ideas?

    Update:

    Fan indicator in BIOS states: 'N/A'

    ASUS ROG Gaming Center states: CPU = 0RPM, GPU = 0RPM

    I'm running BIOS version 318

    Downgraded BIOS to 316 and then 308. The fans are still not working. Temperatures are soring almost at 100 degrees. Looks like its had it.

    Jimi777,
    fan is not running means , there is a problem with fan cable connected motherboard ,
    1. cable inner wire is damaged
    2. cable pin connector on MB is loosed or pin is damaged
    3. power supply is not going to fan connector pin on MB
    4. power supply is not receiving to fan

    so tcontact the asus service center
