Need help! X5950x & ROG Strix X570 E-Gaming

Hi all,

I am an ok PC user, this the first time switched to AMD and to high-end hardware...

I am trying to have default settings for this CPU in the Bios (I don't like overclocking...).
When I load default settings,... I noticed that the CPU is reported in windows @ 4GHz...

Is there anywhere a guide to how to configure this CPU to default settings? I think something is wrong with the Bios...
Current Bios Version is 3001

Many thanks & happy new year!

Task Manager/System is trash at reporting your CPU speed.

Download AMD Ryzen Master or HWInfo to see your real clock speeds.

E.g. my 3950x shows up at 3.50GHz in System info but runs at 4GHz+ and Task Manager reports an average across all my cores which isn't helpful.

Thanks mate, I noticed the same in the Bios, CPU Z and also in AI Suit 3...

Also what was surprizing for me is the bench mark in CPU-Z Showing that the CPU is 1% faster in Multi thread vs. 3950x and 5% faster in single thread ...
