    hi i have an problem with my 749-f and xmp i updated my bios to Version 2002 and since the i get mem fails and bsod's {4x8gb corsair vegence} when i enable xmp never had a problem before bios update any help would be welcome

    Thanks for this riddle , if I correlate with your BIOS version, I guess you meant ASUS ROG Strix Z490-F Gaming ?

    Anyway, follow this process :

    - Go in your BIOS > Press F5 (Default) > Press F7 (Advanced Mode) > Extreme Tweaker tab :

    Ai Overclock Tuner : XMP II
    ASUS MultiCore Enhancement : Disabled

    - Press F10 (Save & Exit)

    Note :

    ASUS MultiCore Enhancement Auto/Enabled : ASUS optimized core ratio
    ASUS MultiCore Enhancement Disabled : Original core ratio from Intel

    XMP I mode = ASUS optimized XMP profil
    XMP II mode = Original XMP profil from memory stick manufacturer.

    Thanks for the reply you are correct it is a strix z490-f gaming mobo just tried you suggestion and again bsod as soon as windows started it is a fresh install of windows and everything is fully updated
