GTA V low FPS with a 1070 8GB
Ryzen 3900x with a Samsung evo 970 1TB M.2 and a 1070 8gb Nvidia with everything maxed only getting 28-38 ish FPS. In my previous build was getting more than this with a slow Intel I7 6700 6th Gen and same card? Any ideas. Got a x570 e strix. Benchemark says I should get 45-70FPS ish, so seems very low.

Userbench does not like Nahimic Service. In services tab, find it, and stop it, then put to manual from automatic and complete the test, this will stop it causing userbench crying foul but still allow it to run when needed.

Thanks , reran it and it completed properly thanks to your advice. I also changed to Ryzen High Performance power plan in case that was doing something.

I seem to be getting between 34-46FPS now (60FPS on cut scenes). Coincidence from changing power plan? Most benchmarks still say I should get higher FPS from this card. My monitor is a 60HZ max so just trying to get as close to this as possible. I may upgrade the card but the recent price of GPU's tell me it's not the right time...Last edited by primeshooter; 01-10-2021 at 04:49 PM.
