Having an Issue during boot with Asmedia Sata controller hanging.

Rampage IV Extreme

When ever I restart it displays

Asmedia 106X SATA Controller Ver 0.93 AHCI Mode
S.M.A.R.T. Supported
Using PCIE Gen 2
(List's my raptor drive and WD black 1TB)

Then the screen goes black and displays this, and hangs for about 30 seconds.

Can't find any device.

I'm wondering if this is normal or if their is a setting that needs to be changed or well really any insight to this would be greatly appreciated.

Try disabling the ASmedia Bios post option in the bios.

Unless you need to have those items in the ASmedia ports I would not even use them. Disable and use the Intel ports. If you can of course.
