GTX 580 Overclocking

NiMx1233
Level 7
I'm using a Gigabyte GTX 580 3GB at stock 772MHz, I want to overclock it higher for gaming purposes. At stock (772MHz,1050mV), ambient is 39C, and 60C while gaming (Skyrim, BF3, Mass Effect 3, etc.). I'd like to overclock it higher, any approximation on how much voltage i should try for 900MHz, 1000MHz and 1100MHz? Thanks.

Each graphic card will need to be tested to find out what is the optimal voltage for an overclock. The best thing you can do is download furmark and run the burn in test. Increase your frequency of the GPU in small steps and find out when it freezes. Then increase the voltage a little and repeat. Keep doing this untill your temps are a problem. Drop back one or two steps and you have your stable best overclock.
