New Asus ROG Z590 upcoming motherboards

Hi,

There will be a new set of motherboards based on the new intel Z590/ core gen.11 cpu. One can easily find a one page specs page for each of these new MB in the Asus website. For the Strix A590-E and the Maximus XIII Hero, the following is written concerning the M2 storage support (please see below). As I understood the 11th gen has 20 PCIe 4.0 lines (+ 8 for DMI link). This means that it will be possible to connect one x16 GC and one PCIe x4 M2 storage device. The spec page states that TWO M2 4x PCIe 4.0 can be connected to the CPU (Gen 11). How is this possible ? Does it mean that in such case it would be possible to use only a 8x PCIe 4.0 GC ?

Best regards
