Is There A Limit On Zephyrus S17 (GX701) NVME Size?
I have a new ASUS Zephyrus S17 (GX701). I had hoped to increase the NVME drive to 2TB. Unfortunately it appears that the BIOS will no recognize any NVME larger than 1TB. I attempted to install a replacement NVME drive using Acronis 2021, but the BIOS would not recognize it. I have attempted to use the 2Tb drive for backup, but it would not be recognized by the BIOS when plugged into the USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports so no luck there, either. A 1TB drive is recognized by the BIOS for backup, but only when plugged into the USB 3.0 Gen 2/Thunderbolt port and not the USB USB 3.2 Gen 1port. BIOS limitation?

Hello dks01,
The largest SSD capacity we have tested for this model is 1TB.
Thank you.
