My Crosshair Hero and ROG RX5700XT survived a flood
Last week during a storm, water leaked through the roof and rained on my PC which was plugged in but not running.
Significant amount of water went into the motherboard slots causing one of those hand in face moments.
I immediately disconnected, stripped it down to the metal and placed the CH7, GPU (brand new) and PSU under a fan for four days while spraying gently with IPA.
All the components survived on the test bench several days later and I'm sure the hot weather helped the drying process.
I may have had lady luck on my side, but I'm sure these Asus products are incredibly well built, unlike our roof.
