Graphics Card Release

Are there any plans in the near future to release a notebook with a more advanced graphics card? For example:

GeForce GTX 580M or
Radeon HD 6970M

I'm looking at buying a laptop and can hold out for about 4 weeks. These 2 laptops below have better graphics cards in them than the 560m in the G series. I'm happy to spend around $3,000 AUD (around the same as the USD)

i've been using video card benchmark to look up the scores.

the samsung looks really good, i would check that out, I personally would buy that one.......... considering the lack of support for the G74 from ASUS I would stay away... tons of issues with, locked bios, poor quality, touchpad, wifi cards, keyboards, USB 3.0 issues, etc...... cant see the the G75 being any better since the g series seems to be getting worse lol........ I personally have been lucky, and only needed to upgrade the wifi card, for it to run smooth....

The Samsung looks promising, but looks like an old style laptop keyboard. Those kind of keys are easy to break.
The MSI has nice hardware, but I dont think their build quality is better then Asus. They are made mostly of regular hard plastic like seen on most regular laptops. They are also more "flashy" with their red lights and plastic everywhere. Not something I personally would care for.

I have also had zero of the problems Boosted_R speaks of, and I have owned 3 ROG laptops total (G60, G53, G74). I have only seen the quality going up, which was the reason for my most recent upgrade from the G53 to the G74. Better keyboard and easier access to upgradeable components.

The best gaming for your dollar, you cant get much better then Asus. There are laptops that will beat it, but they will be more expensive.

The only downside I can say about the G74, is the non upgradeable 560m. But its also a non reference 560m with 3GB VRAM.
(ROG has simply become too expensive compared to the competition with same specs... 😞 )
MSI GE75 Raider 10SGS - i7 10750H - RTX 2080 Super - 32GB Ram - 1TB WD NVMe - 2TB 960 EVO - 300Hz 17inch Display

The Dyne Audio speakers and sub woofer on the MSI looks much better than the G series.
