Will W_Pump+ Header auto shut down pc if pump fails?

I have an Formula X motherboard, with my D5 pump plugged into the W_Pump+ Header. I stupidly unplugged the molex power while it was drawing power from another PSU during a leak test, but I had my pc turned on running Heaven. I unplugged the molex, Gpu temp skyrocketed to around 70c from 40 in seconds, then plugged the molex into my PC's PSU.

That got me to question why my computer didn't shut off when the pump lost power. I thought upon a pump failure, the computer is supposed to shut off? Or if my graphics card hit 90c would it turn off?

Hello,

The system will hit TJ MAX long before any damage will occur. You can set an alert in something such as HWINFO for when the pump drops below a certain RPM.
