Question Asus TUF FX505DT - Dual Channel

Full model name under the notebook (usually next to the serial number): TUF FX505DT

    Bios version: 315

    CPU: Ryzen 5 3550H

    Memory amount in GB: 16

    GPU: nVidia GTX 1650

    SSD/HDDs/Optical drives: 2x 512GB SSD

AC Adapter: original ASUS 180w adapter

    Operating system: Win10 64-bit

Original ASUS factory image or clean install? Clean Install

    Microsoft Activated yes/no? YES

Drivers Installed (include version and especially any non-ASUS approved notebook drivers): Original ASUS drivers except vga which is using the Nvidia 461.40

Any third Party temp/voltage software installed: No

    System Overclocked (provide details)? No

Any hardware upgraded? RAM upgrade from 8 to 16GB

    Issue:

I have buy the same Memory Module for upgrading my Laptop.

Both are Micron and 3200Mhz, dual sided.

Now they run in Dual-Channel 2400 but not higher.

Is there any why to bring them up to higher Dual-Channel Frequences?

    Welcome to the forums!

You may already know, but according to AMD's website the AMD Ryzen™ 5 3550H cpu only supports up to 2400Mhz memory speed and as far as I know, there is no way to overclock memory in this notebook, but hopefully someone can correct me if I'm wrong about this since I haven't had a chance to physically check this model.

Unfortunately, ASUS isn't providing anything like this as far as I know and don't know if anybody else is.
