Crosshair 8 Dark Hero with 2x M.2 drive and 3090 GPU: PCIe impact?

Hi

I am planning to install 2x M.2 drive and 3090 GPU. It is not clear in the user manual if the M.2 drives will use PCIe lanes and if the GPU will stay at x16 with 2 drives installed...

Does anyone know more about that?

Idea was to set the two M.2 drives in Raid 0 but don't want to see the GPU goes from x16 down to x8...

I do have 2x M.2 0 Raid and 3090 GPU it works perfect no Problem

Thx for the reply! Can you confirm that both of your M.2 are PCIe 4 devices and that your 3090 still runs at x16 and not x8?

Typing from a computer that has this exact setup. GPU-Z reports my 3090 as PCIe x16 4.0

That's that great thing about X570 boards.

There are 4 lanes dedicated to one m.2 slot from the CPU and 4 lanes to the chipset, which has the other m.2 slot. Neither takes lanes from the 16 dedicated to GPU or similar. Get about 5gb/s read on both m.2 drives (max for the drives) and about the same performance regardless of if it is going through the chipset or direct. GPU sits at 16 lanes.
