hi there ,
I am maknig some tests over my Laptop (Zephyrus S GX 531)
2080MaxQ and i7 8750H
Because of over heat ant thermal Thtottling, i am trying some different values in cpu and Gpu side.
Where i see that,
my Max CPU clocks can go up to 3.2 Ghz , after that it is overheating in gaming and throttling
And my GPU can work stable around 1400Mhz without thermal limiting.
SO MY QUESTION IS ,
when i compare my results in 3DMark, i see people, with the same laptop (but 17 inch model) same gpu and cpu,
They push 1950 at GPU and 4.1 at CPU stable.
How is it possible? do they open the laptop and use special cooling solutions just for 3d mark score?
im not talking about the top 50 of the list, they are surely working their ass off for the scores, and do everything to the device,
but i check upper mid scores, and i see many mahy people working with 1900 mhz GPU. and over 3.9Ghz on cpu.
Anyone here doing this?
