Xonar AE 5.1 issues
Hello my friends.
I had some problems with the onboard Realtek sound card, which gives cracks and sometimes delays on clips. So, I bought an Asus Xonar AE card hoping my problems will disappear. Unfortunately, still have some crackling sound on browser from time to time, but manageable.
The main problem with this sound card and really bothers me, is the 5.1 output. Sonic Studio doesn't detect the subwoofer, but it works with the Upmix option enabled. But it only works on browsers and audio/video apps, not in games. No matter how I configure the game or speaker settings, I have no sound on the subwoofer, which gives a very bad sound experience.
Any thoughts how to make the subwoofer working in games? Xonar has a great sound quality opposites to the onboard one, so I don't want to return it.
