I followed your very eloquent instructions and ran the install.bat and BAM! Armoury Crate started to recognize my PC!!! I am finally able to use Aura Sync. I immediately tried it out with the Ghostrunner game and the lighting effects worked as advertised.

Thanks to you, I'm very happy right now.

To be able to provide some information to you, I reinstalled the Aura Creator and checked, but as in your case, my Aura Creator also still doesn't recognize the laptop. I have no use for Aura Creator as I typically use the Reactive Key option that makes the keys light up as I press them (which has its own issues that I still am unable to fix; like some keys not reacting and ROG key lighting up the PgUp switch key instead), but I hope ASUS steps up and provides you with help that fixes this Aura Creator recognition issue.
It would be nice if you can share the esupport files.
    Thanks

The link mama5bath sent to me is now private, and I have no means to upload that file, but you can try the link provided on the Reddit until OP contacts you: https://www.reddit.com/r/AsusROGZeph...lder_download/

    Good luck!

    Workarround and asus help

Hello guys, i have the same issue, seems like the aura update is broken on our last of line laptops.

I took some research here and installed all from eDrive, and update only the device & component things from Armorury Create, not the Aura Service.

It's working for now, but with the aura version obsolete.

    @ASUS pls help us .

    missing edriver file

I might get lucky with a lost file recovery program, but if that wouldn't be much of an inconvenience to you, could you upload this folder to Drive, Mega, etc. and share it with me either here or via PM? I would be very grateful. Thank you.

I am in a real bind and could really use that edriver file if anyone can accommodate. I had a windows update completely flash my pc and this has cause all kinds of problems. One of them was my pc didn't recognize nvidia as its GPU saying it was uncompatible with my version of windows. I had to finally go out of my way and find a download for windows update advisor and I went from 20H2 to 21H1 and finally managed to get my GPU working again, but I could still really use that edriver file for the 3070 version. Thank you in advance. I can't get microsoft or xoticpc to respond to anything.

eSupport folder for the 3080 that was shared works with my 3060. The download link should be available here: https://www.reddit.com/r/AsusROGZeph...lder_download/

I managed to get mine detected by copying the "GX551" folder from this path in the original Asus Windows install:
    Code:
    C:\ProgramData\ASUS\ROG Live Service\DeviceContent
In other words, you're missing this folder:
    Code:
    C:\ProgramData\ASUS\ROG Live Service\DeviceContent\GX551
