Hello All,

I currently have an i9 11900K (tray version) in my Asus Maximus Xiii Hero. `But I will get an i9 11900k Boxed in the next few days and only want to keep one (the better one).

But how can I best test the quality?
Does the SP value say anything? or should I check what others are doing

SP and the prediction clock / voltage is a good indication. You can also check the V/F Points Curve. Lowest voltage wins 🙂

Please let us know which is better?

I bought 3 processors in the last year:

10600K - SP79 - Tray (OEM)
10700K - SP51 - Retail Boxed
11700K - SP55 - Retail Boxed

I know it's still a lottery but wondering if the odds are better buying Tray...
