    PCIe 4.0 8x instead of 16x

    Hello everyone,

Been around this for a couple of weeks now. I am the proud owner of a ROG X570-f, have a RTX STRIX 3070 OC.
Now, no matter what I do I can only get 8x native on my Strix card instead of the 16x.

I have selected GEN4 on the PCIe slot (graphic is on top slot).

Is this because I have 2 NVMe M2 installed?

Is there anything that I'm missing or it is simply not possible?

    Thanks

Are you running a 10th Gen processor?

The Nvidia Control Panel in the System info will show you if the card is running as PCIe 4. I have mine set to auto and it works fine that way.
