    Fan Issue

I have a Asus Tuf Z490 plus motherboard..
It has been running my gaming system happily for the past year.
It has 3 chassis/case fans connected to the appropriate headers.
I have allowed the bios to control the fans on standard setting.
This has worked fine even through the hotter months.
Recently, doing maintenance I thought I’d check the fans.
So, in the bios I set each one individually to max to check for noise etc.
Strangely all 3 worked together. No matter which header I selected.
These are all PWR 4 wire fans.
On previous Asus boards these same fans have worked separately.
    Questions:
Is there a problem with this board ?
Do I have something set wrong ?

    Hi Keith52,
    Go to BIOS -> Monitor -> Qfan tuning;
Please unplug and plug the fans. Test it individually. Replace fan

    Thanks.
Once I opened the case I could see the selected fans were on max while the others were still running slowly.
I was expecting them to be stopped.

    Hello Keith52,

How was the fan hook up before?
How was the fan hook right now? What fan to what header? We can narrow down what causing this issue. Hope that helps.

I confirm internally. This is a normal phenomenon, and I have just tried it. There is no way to independently test the speed of one fan when other fans are connected. Therefore, if the customer wants to test the noise of a separate fan, we suggest the customer connect a separate fan for testing, thanks!
    Sincerely,
    TY
