Dual Boot

Hello all. Haven't built a new PC for many years so I'm kinda out of the loop.

My goal is to be able to select which drive I boot from by just going to the BIOS and selecting it. I don't want to mess with GRUB. I want 2 bootable drives that I can select at any time I want.

NVME is Windows 10. Here is my plan.

1. Power down
2. Remove Windows NVME drive
3. Install 2.5" SATA drive
4. Boot to USB and install Linux on the SATA drive
5, Shutdown
6. Reconnect the NVME (Windows) drive
7. Power up and select any drive I want to boot to

Not being real familiar with UEFI.. Does this sound do-able?

Yes, boot order is still selectable in UEFI.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

Like he said as soon as you have to OSs installed (even if its same drive and different partitions) the UEFI will detect it and you can select from a drop down or scroll down and choose which you want to force.
