It was RMA Monday morning. I only have like 5 days to return cpu guess I'll RMA it as well. Think my ram is fine? They did light up at least. Very expensive ram, upsetting I had to install and remove numerous times trying to figure out problem.

The RAM should be fine. I don't think it ever got to a point where it could be damaged by current flow. Just check the RAM to make sure everything is still intact with nothing visually wrong with the RAM.

Ty very much for for your help. Really appreciate . RMA started. I'm going to give Asus one more try thanks to you. I forgot to mention video card was rx6700xt. Work perfect in b550-e, I tried with the card in and out in x570-e. Same error OD and yellow light.

You can use bios flashback to re-flash your bios with another version and see if things works. And you don't need CPU or memory installed to do this.

Originally my board came with bios 2802 installed. I update to latest beta bios 3801 using usb flash button (no cpu or nothing installed). I should of tried 2802 bios before updating. I then reflashed to latest non beta bios (cpu installed). Had same outcome, (od error, yellow light, black screen, no keyboard power) . I previously flashed b550-e using usb flash. Bios flash ran for about 4-5 mins, computer worked perfect. X570-e took just as long to flash 4-5 mins, wouldn't boot (od). The motherboard cpu socket just didn't seem right ( no tension locking down cpu with lever, lever seemed loose, made clunk noise when I lift the lever to release the cpu ( as it's sliding something catching). I'm hoping thats the reason and the new board boots np else no clue what to do.
