    Where is the Sensor?

Where is the Sensor on the Mainboard?
I mean that Sensor, which regulates/knows the temperature of the CPU/GPU and tells the fans to slow down or not, based on temperature

The CPU/GPU sensors are inside of the chip packages. Most CPUs will actually have multiple sensors so they can track individual cores vs the overall package temperature.
