Sadly no, currently just hoping that the team that design/maintains this Armoury Crate software see this as a issue and fix it asap.

Kinda annoying tho, armoury crate can open without crash but yet, the system detect that file operator error everytime I launch armoury crate

Got an update for those who had installation issues. Should be resolved now after we released ROG Live Service v1.2.16.0. Please try again if you couldn't before.

Is this the only thing that was updated in this long awaited update? I mean I would at least like to not have to enter the amount of leds my strips are using EVERY DAY & not have them revert back to 120 constantly, among many other things. Also I see the dashboard is still included

Always getting "C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ROG Live Service\FileOperator.exe" errors every time I open up Armory Crate.

Hope this gets fixed soon.

I am getting this as well and now getting kicked out of game. I bought ASUS products for their reputation. This is NOT what I expected!! Please fix Armoury, AI Suite 3 and any other problem that arises. The reputation level is dropping...

Hi,

It is now apparent that asIO3.drv asIO2.drv are under some process that does not have process handle observable with Resource Monitor. If you try to delete them Windows 10 will inform that they are used by another process while Resource Monitor doesn't show any process handles for these process that keep files open . Is ASUS installing rootkits, spyware et.al. with it's Armouury Crate software?

Armoury Crate keeps crashing.

I downloaded and installed the most current version from the asus website - but still doesn't work.

A window will open up, say 'loading' and then disappear. In looking at MS task manager, several armoury crate programs seem to be running, although the UI is not visible.

I have found if I stop the armoury crate service, launch the app, the app will load. I then start the service and it works for a bit, but if I click on certain things like the tools tab, the window will unload and I'll be left staring at a blank screen.

Don't know if it has anything to do with it, but the last time I tried the tool it was working ok. However, earlier this morning, in preparation for Windows 11, I enabled TPM in the bios (it was previously not enabled).

In any case, would like to get Armory Crate back up and running - any help would be appreciated.

Many more issues have ben resolved but they may be applicable to specific systems or people, only those people are made aware privately. Please provide logs or further info first before commenting again. And as mentioned previously, suggestions for the dashboard are welcome in another thread.

First of all, after opening the Armoury Crate app, it always loads very slow (like 2-3 minutes), and then displays "Service Erroe". I understand that you might want your users not to bother, but a lot of DIYers are pretty good at Windows, so why not display more detailed error information like what service went wrong and their detail?

Then I went to the Dashboard, but everything like CPU Frequency, Temperature, Usage, Fan and Voltage are showing 0:

Besides, when I went to Aura Sync, it shows no device available, despite that I have the compatible motherboard, graphic card and RAM:

Then, there was a "Tools" tab in the left panel in the last version, but after upgrading, it disappeared, though in the last version it always displayed nothing in the "Tools" tab as well.

And the Record Log function is always reset every time I open the Armoury Crate app again. The last time I ticked the box, then if I close the whole app and open it again, the app diagnosis is not ticked.

We can confirm this issue. It will be fixed in ROG Live Service v1.2.17.0 soon, the ETA for public release is 2-3 weeks.

A few people have asked about running Armoury Crate with SVM enabled:
For the AMD platform, the dashboard tries to get CPU MSR in order to show CPU status, but the MSR is not in the Microsoft whitelist (so BSOD occurs).
Currently we are still working to update the ASIO3 driver, and have requested Microsoft to update their whitelist.

You won't happened to have SVM (virtualization) on in the bios? Armor create BSODs with a system exception with Ai0s3.sys reference any time I access the dashboard with SVM enabled. It works fine SVM off. It's not ideal though I would like to use virtualization. I have the same problem with the AI software too.
