    I'll explain again in detail...

If you can't install then there's no way to generate a log, but please at least provide your system/setup info (see original post). Some people have raised the question why it installs fine on one system but not on another - the setup matters and it's not happening on all systems. Please provide necessary info, otherwise it's difficult to help you. While looking on a platform where other people are also having the same issue, it may seem like everyone else is experiencing the same thing. If that was the case, this thread would be far longer than it currently is.

If you have tried deleting files manually or tinkering with the registry, I'd suggest to do a Windows Reset (reinstall). I understand many people are unhappy about doing this (rightfully so) and as a result tried every other possible alternative there is. The chances are, you'll save a lot of time by reinstalling in the first place. There have been countless times where users have scratched their hair out looking for a solution, spending countless hours troubleshooting but realized all that was necessary was to uninstall Armoury Crate or reinstall Windows. Obviously, this may not be one fix fits all, but it's something to consider seriously.

OK, thanks for your feedback and post's on the forum. I'll explain again in detail. Armoury Crate worked for me for 1 year with no major problems. When I updated v4.1.6.0 via Armoury Crate, I could no longer access my Asus ROG MAXIMUS XI FORMULA Z390 motherboard. Every time I click on Devices in Armoury Crate and select my motherboard, a loading bar comes up and nothing happens. I did not use the Asus Armoury Crate uninstall tool and did not delete any registry entries because I read that many people do not get it installed after uninstalling Armoury Crate. I have created a log and will gladly give it to you, in the hope that it will help and solve my problem. Here is my system hardware and the download link to my Armoury Crate generated a log file I sent them via PN

When the update came out none of my devices showed up Motherboard, Ram, AIO, or LED's. Used the uninstaller off of the Asus support website, and removed the AC software.

Now when I download the AC software and try to reinstall it I'm getting the "Installation Failed" "Installation Failed. Please restart the system and check the Internet connection status before retrying.0". Multiple restarts, calls to my ISP, REVO uninstaller (per prior Asus support), then Windows reset and nothing has worked.

I might seem very narrowminded now but it's outrageous to even suggest that we should reinstall the WHOLE OS to fix this program not installing. Reinstalling means alot more job to get the system back to the way it was. We are not ONLY using this software you know... So why people is troubleshooting is because we DON'T want to reinstall becuase it was supposed to SAVE TIME, so to me it's a ridiculous claim.

Also there's probably lots of people out there who doesn't want to make the effort to make a forum account here as it's also horrible to need to wait/get accepted into the forum which is very odd to me. We who buy your products shouldn't need to wait to be able to make a claim about a problem with their products.

It's finally nice to hear it's being investigated tho so don't get me wrong. Very happy about that.

I'll be back with my system info later.

Here's an idea. Outrageous I know. How about the installer, which is failing on "downloading other components", not require downloading anything. Why can't you just upload the all the files for us to download, so the installer can install them.

Please bear with us while we investigate the installation issue and provide your system info later. Thanks.
The previous suggestion was more for those who have already spent time troubleshooting and are considering taking (or have taken) actions to delete files or modify the registry. I see several people resorting to this, more often than not it's doing more harm than good. Also, it's best to not have Armoury Crate and Aura Sync (discontinued) both installed at the same time, some files are shared.

We also hope that everyone can join the forum and post straight away, however, as many forum members have noticed - there are those who are simply not very responsible. We get spam attacks regularly (most recent is the group responsible for the Viagra spam...), if our approval system wasn't in place, we would not be able to eradicate the spam posts fast enough (I personally know this for a fact...).

also.. by reseting windows, we're not guaranteed it will work either. Others have posted here and on reddit that doing so didn't solve their problems. Please review your installer and fix it.

I noticed that ROG Live Service windows service, after installing and starting, immediately stops. It continues to do so with restarting the service. Hope that helps identify a fix.

    Guys, I've fixed the problem
Rename LED_DLL_forMB_User_x64.dll in C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ROG Live Service\vga to LED_DLL_forMB_x64.dll and just start the ROG Live Service service from task manager

It also fixes the installation error
Just install the first time, get error 0 network blah blah blah, then rename the dll and reinstall again without deleting anything
    Good luck

Man, I don't know how you did it but I tried renaming the dll file exactly as you said (and the folder already had a .dll with that name so I just moved it to the desktop and proceeded with renaming the one that said 'user')
    A million thanks.
Hope ASUS tries to make a better final product at some point, I was feeling pretty silly of having spent hundreds of dollars in their hardware to not being able to control the RGB lights..
