However, do keep in mind that using 10th gen cpus on yourt z590 board means that the first m.2 slot is disabled (m.2_1, the top one), and that the only cpu-bound m.2 slot is the m.2_2. Also, it means that you have a pcie 4.0 nvme that will only run at pcie 3.0 speeds.
I don't know if adding the drive to the m.2_2 slot will affect the nº of lanes available to the cpu, but this motherboard seems to run the same configuration as my apex, so... it should make it drop from 16x to 8x.
TL;DR, unless you go to 11th gen, you're restricted to only pcie 3.0 in all of the nvme slots and you will have the first one disabled. first nvme slot needs an 11th gen processor. Also pcie 4.0 is only available on 11th gen, which means that you spent too much in an already overrated nvme drive (samsung is good, but it's not good enough for the asking price of those drives).
