ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero: 128GB RAM instability

Hi all,

I have build a pc with ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero, 5950X, and 128 GB RAM (4*32GB).
I am running BIOS 3302.

First of all, the 3501 beta bios is no the site for an eternity. When a new non-beta bios will be released?

Second, my pc is massively unstable. I get very frequently lock-ups. Most of the errors seem memory related, but how can be sure...
My memory is: G Skill Intl F4-4000C18-32GTZR
This is certified for 4000, so I load DCOP, then lower frequency to 3200, but my pc constantly freezes.
I am running linux (Fedora 33), everything at the latest version.

Hello,

That kit may well be certified for 4K, but not on that platform.

128GB will be very tough on the Infinity Fabric. How much VSOC have you tried for 3200MHz?

I am not sure. Apart from DCOP and then lowering frequency to 3200 and RAM voltage to 1.39, everything else is on auto.

You may wish to experiment with VSOC. Try values between 1.08v and 1.15v

VDIMM try 1.45v

BIOS 3601 is a STABLE release and should be floating around here on the forums. I know it has been rock solid on my C8H for over 10 days and has allowed me to reach mem clocks that were not possible on my current memory previously (Running 3800MHz, 1900FLCK on my Ballistix Elite 3600). 1900 FLCK was not a possibility on previous BIOS versions and were a joke on my 3950X.

EDIT: Here you go. It's marked as BETA, but posters on other forums have said that it is in fact the next STABLE release. From my experience with it, I have to agree.
